When can you get my lights installed?
We work every day of the week except Sunday. A typical work day during the Christmas light installation season begins at 9 am and ends anywhere between 8pm to 10pm. We know our customers are anxious to have their holiday lights installed and try to complete each installation within two days of contact. Around thanksgiving is our busiest time so order in advance please. Otherwise we will do our best to take care of you as soon as we are able to.
Can I buy lights from you?
Yes! We work along with Anderson’s Seed and Garden so anything Christmas light related he sells in his store we can sell to you. We always encourage LED lights as they last much longer and don’t break nearly as easily year to year and they’re MUCH better on your electricity bill.
Is there anything I need to provide?
No. We carry everything we need to complete a Christmas light installation at your home or business. We inventory lights, extension cords, connectors, and timers. Special decorations, like motifs or inflatable Santas, will need to be provided by the customer.
When will you take the lights down?
Takedown is dependent on the weather in Cache Valley. We start to remove the Christmas lights mid-January (weather permitting) and will have all jobs taken down by the end of March. There is no need to schedule an appointment for takedown. To ensure that all our customers have their lights down by a reasonable date, we schedule and route jobs by neighborhood. Please let us know if you have any preferences.
How much does it cost to install Christmas lights?
Every home is unique due to number of stories and steepness of your roofs pitch. We typically range from 1.50/ft to 2.50/ft to put up your lights and .50/ft to take down. If you’re needing to buy lights and have us install them on your home we range from 3.25/ft to 5.25/ft. The choice of light bulb also effects that price as Incandescent bulbs are cheaper but LED last longer and are easier on your electricity bill. If you choose to buy light stream lights they range from 6.25/ft to 7.25/ft. That includes purchase of the lights (for you to keep) and installation/labor.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Our warranty includes replacing up to 10 incandescent lights bulbs that go out or 5 LED bulbs up until Christmas. After that we charge our minimal $25 service fee. Please note that we cannot offer a warranty on product or lights purchased from another store or company, but naturally we will warranty our work.
Are you insured?
As a professional company, we carry liability insurance and workman's compensation insurance on all of our installers. You should only hire a Christmas light hanging company who carries both insurances.
