How does your Christmas light installation service work?
Request an Estimate
Fill out the on line form to receive an estimate for Christmas light installations. The estimate you are quoted is based upon the amount of Christmas lights you want installed. The quoted price is the price you can expect to pay, you will never be charged more than the estimated price unless you request additional Christmas light hanging services.
Schedule an Installation
Appointments can typically be scheduled within one to three days. You don't need to be home during the time of the installation and there is no need to pay a deposit.
The Installation Process
Our Christmas light installers will show up on the day of the Christmas light installation. They have all the necessary tools, equipment, and decorations to hang Christmas lights on your home. You won't need to provide anything. Our Christmas light hangers try to keep their appointments and be on time, but cannot estimate exactly how long a job will take to complete. They will call you before heading to your home.
After the Installation
Payment is due to the company who provides the installation service. Checks are the preferred method of payment. Credit cards are subject to an additional 5% service fee. All work is warrantied until January 1. If something is bothering you, feel free to give the installation company a call and they will fix any problems with your holiday lighting. Products purchased from the The Christmas Light Professionals have a three-year warranty on LED products. Any broken or burned-out bulbs, excluding incandescent lights, under warranty will be replaced for free.
Removal
We begin removing the holiday lighting on January 1. There is no need to schedule an appointment for this service. A $25 booking fee will be charged if you would like to schedule a specific date. There is no need to pay for the removal of the Christmas lights. All Xmas lights should be removed by February 1, weather permitting.
Storage
Free storage is provided for all customers. We will take your holiday lighting decorations and hold them for you until the next season.
Next Season
You'll receive a reminder postcard in October of the following year. Call us to schedule an appointment to have your lights installed.
Why should I hire a professional Christmas light installation company?
There are many reasons why you should hire a professional holiday lighting company to hang your Christmas lights rather than installing them yourself or hiring a non-professional to decorate. Many customers realize the dangers and risks involved in hanging their own Christmas lights. They choose to hire professional holiday lighting companies who have the skills and product to create beautiful displays. They also love the convenience of hiring a company to install, maintain, and remove the decorations.
Can I use my own Christmas lights or do I have to buy yours?
Any Christmas lights that you may already own will be fine, but please be aware that a product warranty is not offered on decorations that you have purchased elsewhere. The Christmas light installers carry a full inventory of standard Christmas lights in their trucks in case you do not have enough to complete the installation. Specialty decorations are typically not carried in stock, so please purchase more than you expect to need.
How much does it cost?
Surprisingly, it may not cost as much as you think to have someone hang Christmas lights. The price to have Christmas lights installed depends on the amount of decorating you would like us to do. Our minimum job is $200 for the installation and removal, although some commercial jobs can cost over $10,000 dollars for decorations and the holiday light installation. To get an estimate within 10% of the final price, give us a call or fill out the estimate request form.
How can I get a discount on the Holiday light installation?
We offer a discount for any installation scheduled before November 1. Fill out the on line estimate request form to receive a Christmas light bid and speak with one of our sales associates to find out about discounts.
Do you offer a warranty on the installation?
Customer satisfaction is our main priority. We warranty our Christmas light hanging services from the day the job is completed until January 1. Please call us if you have any problems. Service calls are completed within 48 hours. Decorations purchased from the us have a three year warranty. Any lights that need to be replaced due to breakage or burning out will be replaced for free.
When do you start hanging Christmas lights?
We begin installing Christmas lights on the first Monday of October! It's well before Halloween, but we offer a great discount to our prior customers who install Christmas lights before November 1. This allows us to focus on installing for our new customers.
What cities do you serve?
We install Christmas lights in all of the Salt Lake City suburbs (Sandy, Draper, Heriman, Bluffdale, Riverton, South Jordan, Midvale, Cottonwood Heights, West Jordan, Magna, Kearns, Taylorsville, Holladay, South Salt Lake, North Salt Lake). We also do installations in Weber County, Utah County, and Summit County.
